In this workshop, you’ll turn the Kunsthalle Mainz into your sound lab from October 6 to 9. Under the guidance of music producers, you’ll develop a radio play for headphones that lets you not just listen, but feel like you’re right in the middle of it. To do this, you’ll work together to come up with a story and produce the music to go with it. Anyone who’s interested can also contribute their own voice. From the initial idea to the final mix, you’ll do everything yourselves and gain hands-on experience with digital media and music production. In the end, you’ll bring your own story to life. Starting in 2027, your Silent Lab—the finished audio drama—will be available for all visitors to experience at the Kunsthalle Mainz.
